Your Driving :: Testimonials

Discuss an experience that made you re-assess how you drive.
Twice in the same day, at two different intersections, I was stopped at a red light and a car ran his red light, right after my light turned green. I learned that even though your traffic light turns green, don't start forward until you have looked to the right and left to ensure all is clear to proceed safely!
- Joe Attard

People leaving turn signals on. Almost got hit one time. Also, make sure cars are stopped at red light or stop sign before moving.
- Evelyn Jones
Be attentive to others all the time - no distractions on cell phones, etc. Someone ran a stop sign at the intersection I was approaching. They did not slow down, didn't know 4-way stop existed. Watch out for the other guy.

Do you feel safe driving on the roads of Delaware?
For the most part, yes; however, this does not mean we can read billboard signs, pay attention to other traffic, etc. Delaware drivers should always stay focused on their driving, not on other things!
- Joe Attard

Yes, everywhere except merging onto 95N at Christiana Mall and exiting onto Rt. 1 at Christiana Mall
- Helen Ann Smith

Yes
- John Kennedy
Probably
- Helen and Charles Feng

No. Rt. 1 where it merges with Rt. 9, the right turn lane does not merge safely.
- Ruth Thomas

Medium safe.
- Evelyn Jones

Speeding on 113 and 13, needs attention.
