Your DMV :: Vehicle Registration

The Division emails or sends automated phone registration renewal notices to each vehicle owner that has supplied DMV with an email address or phone number. These notices are sent 90, 60, and 30 days before your vehicle's registration expiration date. DMV no longer sends registration renewal notifications by mail. You may register for the email/phone reminder program here.

A ten-dollar ($10.00) late fee is charged for all renewals performed after the vehicle's registration has expired.

If you misplace your registration card, you do not need to purchase a new one.

After inspection, drive-thru lanes are available for your convenience which will accept cash or check.

Quick tip: Many senior drivers come for inspection immediately after receiving their notice. Consider waiting until a better time (See: tips) to avoid long inspection lines.
