Using Safety Belts And Child Restraints
Delaware law requires all individuals in the front seat to be in safety/seat belts, or to be using a proper child restraint system. Additionally, children under the age of 16 years, and any place in the vehicle, must be properly restrained. Please also review the important information on the use of safety belts and child restraints in the Driving Skills and Safety Tips Section of the Driver's Manual.
