Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Public Carrier Regulation is to ensure the public safety, consumer protection, and equity among public carrier businesses through fair and equitable application of the laws, rules and practices that govern the public carrier industry. We hope to continue to maintain positive working relationships with all of our public carriers, in order to accomplish these objectives with as little impact as possible to your day-to-day operations.
If you identify any Public Carrier in this State that is not conducting operations in accordance with Delaware Code and/or the Promulgated Regulations, you may file a complaint with the Office of Public Carrier Regulation. We will follow up on each complaint to determine the nature of the complaint and any necessary action required. Companies that are not operating in accordance with Delaware Code and/or Promulgated Regulations may be subject to penalties and/or suspension or revocation of their operating authority.
